Roff Glass Tile Adhesive is a white colour polymer modified cementitious tile adhesive specially designed for heavy duty tile applications like marble fixing and glass tiles on internal/external vertical surfaces. This tile adhesive has excellent waterproofing property. Areas of Application All applications of Marble, Glass tiles, Glass mosaics on Internal/External wall or floor, Swimming pools, Bathrooms, Commercial Spaces, Residential Spaces and Exterior Spaces.

Needs no hacking or mechanical key on the surface.

 Method of Application: The surface to be tiled should be sound and thoroughly cleaned. Old surface should be free from wax, grease, polish etc. Pour one 25 kg bag in approx. 8 lt. of clean water (recommended proportion approx. 3 : 1 of powder to water by volume). At site, addition of water shall be adjusted to attain desired consistency. Do not put water into the powder. Mix with a trowel / slow speed drills (50 - 100 rpm) until a lump free homogeneous paste is obtained. Always mix the required quantity, which can be consumed with in the prescribed pot life adopting the mixing proportion mentioned above. Leave mixture for 5 min. before using.  Spread the adhesive to a required thickness and comb with suitable notched trowel. Strictly apply the adhesive paste which can be tiled with in 10 to 15 mins. Intermittently touch the adhesive paste on substrate by finger. If the adhesive sticks to fingers then continue tiling and if not scrape off the adhesive and apply new coat. Start placing the tiles on the surface to be tiled. Tap the tiles properly to ensure complete coverage of the backside of tiles and to eliminate the possibility of any air voids. Keep joints between two-tiles using tile spacers. For Glass Mosaic Tiles, the backing paper of glass mosaic tiles must be removed after 24 hrs. Allow tiling to set for 24 hours and start filling joints next day with Roff Rainbow Tile Mate. Roff Glass Tile Adhesive also can be applied at 2mm thickness for fixing of Glass mosaics in toilets and swimming pool area. Precautions & Limitations. Heavy tiles must be supported by mechanical clamps. Do not use directly on Hydrated Limes/Wood/Paint surfaces. Consult Technical Dept., CC Division of Pidilite Industries Ltd.

Quick tiling benefits for contractors & consumers in terms of time saving Method of Application FLOOR Surface Preparation. The surface should be sound,clean and free from dirt, oil or grease before Roff White Adhesive is applied. Expansion joints coinciding with joints in the substrate should be incorporated at the design stage with spacing at 5 meters maximum & it is not to be covered with tiles. Movement joints up to 5 mm width & wider joints to be filled with suitable joint fillers. The surface must be plumb before application of adhesives. The surface must be in SSD condition before application of adhesive. Mixing Take 6 to 7 litres of water in a clean & dry vessel (W/P = 0.30 to 0.35), gradually start addition of 20 kg Roff White Adhesive under continuous stirring to a uniform lump free consistency, soft & smooth paste using a forced action mixer attached with paddle stirrer for 3 - 5 minutes. Allow it to maturate for 3 - 5 minutes. Hand mixing is recommended for small quantities only. } Mix the quantity, which can be used within 30 minutes. Fixing Spread the adhesive to a thickness of approx. 3 - 6 mm and comb with a notched trowel strictly apply the adhesive paste which can be tiled within 5 to 15 minutes. Intermittently touch the adhesive paste on substrate by finger if the adhesive sticks to fingers then continue fixing and if not scrape off the adhesive and apply newly mixed adhesive. Start placing the Tile /stone on the surface to be fixed.Tap the Tile /stone properly to ensure complete coverage of the backside of Tile /stone and to eliminate the possibility of any air voids. Keep joints between two- Tile /stone using spacers. Start filling joints only after 24 hrs. with Roff Rainbow Tile Mate.

Uses
Nitofl or Hardtop Standard provide a highly abrasion resistant surface to concrete fl oors by the dry shake-on method which ensures that the hardwearing surface bonds monolithically to the base concrete.
